The company also celebrates the 2nd anniversary of its Brussels building

Cometa major player in the " Future of Work ", today celebrates the two-year anniversary of its space in the Louise district. After a first full year unaffected by the pandemic, the venue dedicated to corporate meetings and seminars continues to grow and meet its objectives. On the occasion of this new anniversary, the specialist in meetings, corporate events and hybrid working looks back on its progress since setting up in the flat country.

The past two years have been beneficial for Comet's Belgian extension, which continues to grow. Indeed, the Brussels-based collaboration space has recorded +45% growth over the past 12 months, since its first anniversary in October 2022. Driven by the ambition to support companies in their way of working, Comet Louise offers inspiring and stimulating design spaces within its 2,800 m2 building. The building has been decorated in association with Belgian architect Lionel Jadot, with a view to energizing and motivating the productivity and creativity of client companies. Comet's fixed-price-per-person model also includes a whole portfolio of tailor-made services, including support in organizing meetings, local and seasonal catering, and wellness sessions inspired by yoga and meditation.

Positive results after two years in business
Since its opening, Comet Louise has welcomed over 60,000 visitors and 770 corporate clients, including over 1,200 individual customers. At the same time, the collaborative space has held over 2,000 events on its premises, with up to 200 guests per event. The building also regularly opens its doors to high-profile companies such as Solvay, the King Baudouin Foundation, Hub.Brussels, RTBF and Bruzz Media.

Victor Carreau, CEO and co-founder of Comet, confides: " Our Brussels address is following a very positive growth curve. Beyond the horizons this opens up for us, this trend also and above all confirms the relevance of our approach in Belgium: 'all-digital' has its limits and cannot meet all needs. Belgian companies need to bring their stakeholders together, and employees themselves are demanding physical meetings. Encouraged by the support of local players, we are now enriching our approach to providing advice to our customers."

In early September, the Comet Group announced a rebranding. The rebranding reinforces the company's positioning as a hospitality company, and aligns its portfolio of offerings:

  • Comet Meetings A dedicated venue and support for corporate meetings and events
  • Comet Workplaces hotel-style offices, combining design, support and flexibility
  • Comet Hospitality Comet's expertise in customized space design and management, at the heart of corporate real estate assets.

On a global scale, the Comet Group currently employs 180 people in Europe. The collaboration player founded in 2016 manages over 30,000 m2 in total, with 13 spaces spread across Brussels, Paris and Madrid.

Victor Carreau concludes: " Comet Louise has just completed its first full year without a pandemic, a year in which we were finally able to exploit our full potential. This anniversary is therefore an important milestone for us. Since we opened our doors, the job market has changed enormously: after an exponential growth in telecommuting, companies are now promoting hybrid working. Naturally, this calls for a degree of flexibility, and this flexibility is made possible by Comet, which offers on-demand locations. We therefore have an important role to play in this changing context .
