INSPIRING PLACES TO START THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR

September brings with it the return to work and, consequently, meetings. This can be a challenging time for many, and it's becoming more important than ever for professionals to get out of their usual working environment and seek out inspiring venues that allow them to start with a more positive attitude, in an adaptable and stimulating environment designed to enhance professional performance. Comet, the innovative meeting space located opposite Retiro, presents itself as a solution to help start the New Year in a different way. Its spacious, modern meeting rooms are designed to meet a variety of business needs, from team meetings to training sessions and executive presentations. They provide a comfortable setting for creativity and concentration.

How can attractive, interactive design improve the efficiency of business meetings?

A visually pleasing and stimulating environment motivates and engages us in our tasks, while interactive design facilitates communication and team participation, improving productivity and performance at work. Designed by studio Madrid in Love, each floor of Comet pays homage to the city of Madrid, in particular the Retiro Park. Each floor of the building refers to an emblematic place in the park, with the aim of creating a warm atmosphere and the perfect setting for any creative meeting.

First floor: Le Glamping

Trees are the protagonists here, where the intervention is more radical and proposes activities that can be carried out between the trees, such as camping or building a tree house. The aesthetics and materials revolve around this idea.

Second floor: The dream pond

Inspired by Lake Madrid, it is distinguished by its aquatic character, and the presence of these boats, together with the surrounding vegetation, are the main elements of the space.

Second floor: The enchanted book

The main theme is the Book Fair, an important fair in Madrid that takes place in the Retiro. The floor was inspired by the fixed stands of the Cuesta de Moyano, with its characteristic blue color, orange awnings and the presence of books. This aesthetic was used to create the common spaces. The meeting rooms are decorated with thematic elements referring to easily recognizable folk tales.

Third floor: The Crystal Palace

Here, the reference is the Crystal Palace, which currently functions as an exhibition center linked to the Reina Sofía and hosts large, fun exhibitions. MIL STUDIOS' project aims to create an installation based on the characteristic effect of glass with light, and the resulting colors and reflections.

Fourth floor: La Maison des Bêtes

One of the most curious, the House of Beasts refers to a former zoo located in Retiro, the presence of exotic animals such as tigers, bears and monkeys gives its name to this place, which is now a library.

Seventh floor: The Great Observatory

The Real Observatorio de Madrid, with its disused telescope now converted into a museum, is a little-known but important part of the park. On the seventh floor, the CAC (COMET ASTRONOMIC CENTER) offers a spectacular terrace with a 180-degree panoramic view of the Retiro and its opening onto Madrid, making it its own observatory.

The key to the success of each Comet floor and meeting room is to encourage face-to-face meetings in highly equipped spaces that stimulate collective collaboration in an inspiring environment. Comet has up to 19 rooms to suit a variety of needs, including common areas, quiet rooms and a rooftop terrace for afterworks.

Comet is more than just a place to work, it's a space full of possibilities, where every detail has been carefully thought out to boost productivity and meet every need. This makes it the ideal place to get back to work.
