After 5 years of development in France and Belgium, Comet Meetings has decided to broaden its horizons and expand into Spain. The French start-up, co-founded by Victor Carreau, Nicholas Findling and Maxime Albertus in Paris, which raised 30 million euros in a fund-raising round in 2020 (Eurazeo, Bpifrance, among other new and historic investors), is enjoying resounding success in France and Belgium, and is now making its Spanish debut in an emblematic building in Madrid.

The key to its success: promoting face-to-face meetings in environments conducive to collective intelligence, with innovative facilities in an inspiring location. For its first opening in Madrid, Comet Meetings has chosen to set up in a historic building steeped in history, opposite the Retiro Park, on one of Madrid's most emblematic avenues, Alfonso XII Street, opposite the famous Puerta de Felipe IV and next to the Casón del Buen Retiro.

"Comet Retiro" will be made up of different universes spread over 6 floors in a 1,900 m2 space including various catering areas, meeting rooms, common areas and outdoor spaces. The 19 modular meeting rooms can accommodate from 2 to 80 participants, are fully equipped and aim to foster creativity and teamwork. There are also 2 outdoor areas offering a privileged view of Retiro Park.

Among the services on offer, a team can meet all customer needs, as well as all-inclusive packages at very competitive prices, including various activities such as wellness sessions to start the meeting with energy.

"For us, being able to convey Comet's vision in our projects is essential: companies need to learn to have fewer, but better meetings. For us, a successful meeting must respect these 5 dimensions: an environment conducive to exchanges, an adequate level of services to focus on the essentials, the right participants, content that is structured and delivered correctly, and finally, the right mindset to achieve the meeting's objectives", says Victor Carreau, co-founder and CEO of Comet Meetings. "This new opening and landing in Madrid represents a very important step in our international expansion to bring the successful meeting format and COMET concept everywhere."

The various options offered according to the project (classic half-day, gourmet half-day, full-day, afterworks and evening events) are accompanied by personalized pre- and post-work activities, such as wellness sessions and team-building activities; as well as services such as their team of moderators to structure the day and guide content, all with the aim of fostering the productivity of each meeting and work in general, in a motivating and stimulating way.
