Comet, the specialist in flexible workspaces and hybrid work modes, maintains its profitability and announces a 30% increase in sales by 2023. The company is also strengthening its management team in order to pursue growth and achieve its ambitious development targets.
Continuing its drive for innovation and internationalization, Comet has announced sales of 35 million euros for 2023, representing growth of 30% compared with 2022. In a turbulent market, Comet has thus strengthened its presence by expanding its offering in the office and hybrid working sectors. To optimize this success and boost its development, the company has also put in place a new management team. The aim of these new leaders is to take Comet to the next level of growth, with particular emphasis on consolidating its position in France and Europe, strengthening its offerings and accelerating its development in the major events segment.
In Spain, Comet is celebrating a successful year with sales growth of +120% compared to September 2022, the date of the opening of its Madrid site. In Madrid, Comet Retiro has established itself as a hub for meetings and events, welcoming teams and stakeholders from over 300 companies, including RENFE. Now a fixture in the corporate events landscape, Comet Retiro will expand in April 2024, adding two new 350 m² floors, each of which can be privatized. These will accommodate cocktail parties, conferences, team-building events and other special occasions for up to 300 people.
According to Victor Carreau, co-founder of Comet, "Comet's expansion in Madrid underlines our strong commitment to a hybrid approach, enabling not only remote working, but also collective highlights. We are convinced that it is vital for companies to invest in moments of cohesion to guarantee the human bond and sense of belonging that are key to talent retention. We're looking forward to sharing our convictions and expertise with companies in Madrid."
In 2024, Comet will continue to expand in France, Belgium and Spain, while adapting to the specific characteristics of each market. The new governance organization is based not only on vertical operating divisions in each country, but also on a cross-functional team in France. The main changes in the management team are as follows:
FrédéricWalter joins the company as CFO and HRO, bringing his expertise in finance and investments. Romina Maillochaud, promoted to Chief Experience Officer, will focus on ensuring a unified high-quality experience and service across all Comet sites. For his part, with a firm commitment to maintaining Comet as a leader in meetings and events, and adapting to emerging digital and data trends, Charles Buseyne will take on the responsibility of Chief Digital Officer.
